Each well-appointed room has its own unique bathroom, with either a deep set bath or expansive shower carved into the tadlakt (ancient Moroccan technique used to plaster the walls of palaces and hammams). Meanwhile, the bedrooms themselves exude a simple charm, with the light from Moroccan stained-glass lanterns dancing on the white walls.

MOROCCAN CUISINE

During your stay you will be looked after by the Riad Villa El Arsa staff. Breakfast is included and is served either in the courtyard or on the terrace. A traditional Moroccan dinner is available by arrangement (by 11am for dinner on the same evening at 180dh a head); the staff are more than happy to cook for you and enjoy the opportunity to introduce you to the delights of Moroccan cuisine. Otherwise, the Riad is located just five minutes away from the main square of Djemaa el Fna where you will find a number of restaurants, cafes and food stalls.

RATES

Prices are from 700 to 950 dirhams and are based on 2 people in a room. Price for a triple room available on request. There is a supplement at Christmas, New year and Easter.
Arrangements can be made to meet you at the airport and lead you to Riad Villa El Arsa at a cost of 150 dirham for two people. This is advisable as it can be a little difficult to find on your first visit.

 

CELEBRATIONS AND EXCLUSIVITY

Riad Villa El Arsa offers the ideal location for a house-party. With a drawing room (with open fire), a courtyard, a roof-top terrace enjoying views to the snow-capped Atlas mountains and split into two levels, and a ‘snug’ on the roof (also with open fire and the ideal place to enjoy drinks and sheesha as the sun goes down), guests can revel in the Riad’s exclusivity. Meanwhile, the staff will be on hand to help with any arrangements, including dinner celebrations with musicians. Price available on request.

 

EXCURSIONS

Trekking in the High Atlas Mountains (day trips or overnight stays) can be arranged with experienced and reliable guides who will organise transfer to and from the Riad.This can be booked in advance or through the staff when you arrive in MarrakechTrips to the Desert or Atlantic coast can also be arranged through us. SITUATION

Riad villa el Arsa is in the heart of the medina in the desirable  quartier of Kennaria.  Both Place Jamma El F’na and the ‘prefecture parking’ ( Palais Bahia)  are excellent drop off points for taxis.
Directions .From Cafe de France on Djemaa el-Fna take the first right, Rue des Banques, which becomes Riad Zitoun el-Jedid. Walk south, take first left under brick arch and first left again. Walk along alley; cross small crossroads and take first right.
